The core function of FGCCI World Healthcare Council is to address the challenges faced by India in the health sector and to strengthen Public and Private healthcare Initiatives.
The council is actively working towards the goal of robust healthcare system of India by strengthening public health, to make sure adequate reach of basic healthcare services & Skilling and upgrading medical workforce skills in the needed geographies.
The various stakeholders which are directly or indirectly involved in the council includes Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Public Health Foundation of India, Indian Council of Medical Research, Public and Private companies, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institutions, Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs), Insurance Companies etc.
